Airshow Superheroes gives people going through cancer treatment, their family and friends a memorable VIP day at a UK airshow. The aim is simple: to create beautiful memories and offer a few hours of fun, escape and genuine distraction during an incredibly difficult time.
The ambition is to have 10 airshows involved for 2027. That's 10 opportunities to create moments of joy, escape and aviation magic for people facing cancer treatment.
Apply for a day out if you or someone close to you is currently undergoing cancer treatment.
Register your airshow if you could host an Airshow Superheroes day (no obligation at this time).

I’m Helen Webb, founder of Helen Webb Aviation and Airshow Superheroes. I’ve been part of the airshow community for nearly 20 years, organising one of the world’s largest aviation events and advising many others.
I know how uplifting aviation can be and how powerfully an airshow can engage, inspire and bring people together.
In June 2026, I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. My own 18-month treatment plan has shown me just how valuable a joyful a day out around aviation can be. Airshow Superheroes has been created from that experience.
Airshows register their interest in hosting a day, with no obligation at this stage. We don't expect these to be free of charge, however if they are, that is hugely appreciated
People undergoing cancer treatment, or someone applying with their permission, submit a short application
We look for a suitable participating airshow close to the applicant's home, usually within about 30 miles.
Where a match is possible, we contact both parties to discuss accessibility, timings and practical arrangements
Subject to availability and funding the experience may include tickets, VIP hospitality and thoughtful extras to help make the day special.
Applications are welcome from adults, couples, parents, carers, friends and family groups; a group does not need to include children. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place, but every request will be considered with care.
Could your airshow host an Airshow Superheroes Day? Register your interest by completing the form below.
If you are undergoing cancer treatment, or are applying on behalf of someone who has agreed to be nominated, please tell us a little about the group. We ask only for the information needed to explore a suitable, local day out.

We will review the information provided and look for a participating airshow close to the applicant’s postcode.
If there may be a suitable opportunity, we will get in touch to discuss availability and practical needs before sharing any details with an airshow.
Please do not make travel plans until a place has been confirmed.

Health information is personal and sensitive. Please provide only what is necessary to help us consider a safe and suitable day out. Information should be kept securely, used only to assess and arrange the application, and shared with a participating airshow only when needed and with the applicant’s knowledge. The published website form should link to the full privacy notice and explain how long application information will be retained.
Airshows often operate on tight margins and rely on volunteers. Fundraising helps to cover tickets, VIP experiences, goody bags, photography and thoughtful extras.
